How This Works
Bathroom renovation costs depend heavily on scope and finish. A full renovation includes demolition, new suite (bath/shower, WC, basin), tiling, plastering where needed, plumbing and electrics. Suite-swap is replacing the suite without changing tiles or layout — much cheaper. The biggest cost driver is labour, especially if waterproofing, structural changes or drainage movement is needed.
A full bathroom renovation typically takes 5–10 working days for a standard-sized room. Day 1–2: strip-out and any structural work. Day 3–4: first fix plumbing and electrics, waterproofing. Day 5–7: tiling. Day 8–9: second fix (suite installation, fittings). Day 10: snagging and cleaning. If any problems arise (e.g. hidden rot, structural issues, asbestos), add 2–5 days buffer. Plan for no bathroom access during this period.
